The Ukrainian National Ballet will be performing Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty, the enchanting story of Princess Aurora, better known as Sleeping Beauty. In a glorious kingdom, everyone is invited to Princess Aurora's christening, except the evil fairy Carabosse. Angry as she is, she curses Aurora. On her 16th birthday, she will pinch herself on a spinning wheel and die. The good fairy Lilac Fairy manages to break the curse. Aurora will not die, but will sleep for 100 years. She can only be kissed awake by a handsome prince...

 

 

This fairytale ballet is characterized by graceful choreographies, beautiful arrangements and lavish costumes.

Olga Kifyak is the 1st soloist of The Ukrainian National Ballet of Odessa. She has won several international public and professional awards and is praised for her incredible footwork and graceful movements.

The Ukrainian National Ballet of Odessa has been touring internationally since 2006 with several successful shows. The ballet is led by artistic director Aleksandra Fedorina, who has received several awards for the way he contributed to the development of the Ukrainian national ballet.
