Ten years after he graduated (cum laude) from the conservatory in Tilburg - and several musical theater pieces later - Mats is now in theaters with a contemporary ode to his musical hero. The Bacharach Songbook is an intimate theater concert, in which not only the worldwide hits but also the unknown gems of Bacharach pass by. Together with The Burt Trio, consisting of three jazz musicians, Mats gives his own interpretation of the rich oeuvre. And he uses personal anecdotes to take you into the story behind the songs. Enjoy this young tribute to an old master. Sing along and sing along!
