After countless gigs as Woody Sings, performing songs by his heroes, and a wide range of collaborations – including the six-piece S.T. Cordell, with whom he creates rousing analogue techno; the tragic-romantic country duo Polly & Bruce; and the acoustic folk duo Woody & Paul, with whom Veneman released no fewer than seven albums – it is now time for Veneman himself. 

With two decades of inspiration and experience under his belt, Woody Veneman now plays his own material, his own songs, his own work. The man and his guitar, where it all began. 

Collaboration, however, is in Veneman’s blood. This evening, he will also perform a number of his songs with a relentless rhythm section comprising drummer Lola Heijdt and bassist Joni Houtman, a trio under the name Woody & The Nine Wives.
