Wheelchair user
For wheelchair users, we offer various facilities to make your visit to De Schalm even more enjoyable.
- At the main entrance (next to the town hall), there is a dedicated entrance for wheelchair users. You can press a button either on the outside or the inside to keep the door open, allowing you to wheel in easily. Please note: the threshold is 1 cm high.
- In the Grote Zaal and the Lindenzaal, a number of seats are available for wheelchair users. To book a wheelchair-accessible seat, please contact the theatre box office (040-253 35 78).
- There is an accessible toilet in the corridor to the left of entrance 2 (Grote Zaal).

3D Tour
Below you can see a 3D tour of our theatre. It was created a few years ago, so the foyer looks a little different these days. We now have a poured concrete floor, so there’s no carpet; there are different tables and chairs, and there are flower pots.
