Oxygen

As an urban dance maker, she takes an unorthodox route to the theater. She is creating a furor in dance competitions, television programs, on the commercial circuit and as a teacher. 
During her first full-length performance of her own, “Delusion,” she played both the stage and the auditorium and managed to get the audience out of the plush. The overwhelmingly positive reactions made it clear that Delusion tasted like more.

In 'DELUSION II - The Final Chapter,' Jennifer takes you into a next level interplay between dance and illusion, in a breathtaking, innovative form of theater.
'DELUSION II - The Final Chapter' continues where Delusion ended. The character we followed on her path from adolescence to adulthood, from insecure to powerful, faces her greatest adversary in part two. Is it an adversary she must win from, or a part of herself she must learn to accept and even embrace? The dualities interact with each other, sometimes in battle, sometimes in love.

In this performance, choreographer Jennifer Romen will once again use blacklight, shadow play and projections to show the audience intangible illusions. Through an exciting interplay between the dancers and the light and unprecedentedly tight choreography, you will be blown away even more this time.  A stunning, moving and to the point coming of age performance that will touch you.

Jennifer founded dance crew Oxygen in 2015. Oxygen won the National, European and World Championships Small Group HipHop. In 2018 they won the television program 'Dance As One'and received a Golden Buzzer during the audition for 'France Got Talent'. In 2020, they reached the finals of the NBC program 'World of Dance' in America. With 'Delusion' they toured full, enthusiastic theaters in 2023.
