Kees lives in an old house, together with his parents but they are hardly ever there. They are too busy working and Kees is often alone. But that doesn't matter because Kees has a great imagination. In his room he builds the most fantastic cabins, draws crazy cartoon figures or makes up whole stories about knights, castles and robbers.

Sometimes, when he is still awake in his bed, he gets scared. He hears his parents downstairs talking about the news on TV or arguments at work. Not understanding it all, his uninhibited imagination begins to tie these stories together into huge invincible monsters that want to invade his world.

Kees closed his door, put on his pilot's helmet, his favorite book, and turned on the TV to suppress scary noises. It's safe, isn't it?

But his imagination never stops. Outside, the wind rolls a marching rhythm against the windows, the TV suddenly starts talking to Kees and then his sink overflows and his room turns into a churning river. Now that even his room no longer seems safe, Kees has no choice but to go out and face his fears on his adventure....

So is Kees's imagination something to be afraid of? Or can it actually bring him much?

'Kees - (Or the boy who farted too much)' is a musical feel-good performance in which you will discover that you have 100 different ways to deal with your fears.
