The band parks the garishly painted Volkswagen van in the heart of West Hollywood, from 1965 on, the hotbed of classic West Coast pop. We witness the launch of the careers of The Byrds, The Buffalo Springfield, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Doors and The Mamas & the Papas, The Monkees, singersongwriters like Joni Mitchell and James Taylor and, of course, the birth of country rock, with names like Gram Parsons, The Flying Burrito Brothers and the Eagles, among others. All this beauty takes place under the wings of the angels of Los Angeles: The Beach Boys. This cannot help but be a top musical evening with beautiful anecdotes and atmospheric images.
