Following the resounding success of their first tour, Acting The Maggot are returning to the theatre. The Netherlands’ best Irish party band presents their new show, ‘Irish Rebels & Rovers’.

Expect a lively evening filled with Irish melodies, rousing rhythms and that quintessential pub atmosphere. But right here in your own theatre!

In ‘Irish Rebels & Rovers’, the musicians take you on a musical journey through the green heart of Ireland, past centuries-old ballads, fiery folk songs and rebellious battle hymns. Songs full of passion, love and freedom. With a singer who is a fantastic storyteller, a dose of humour, a burst of energy and a wealth of musicality, the stories of the Irish ‘rebels and rovers’ come to life.

Familiar classics about love, whiskey and rovers are effortlessly interspersed with surprising gems in their own unique arrangements. Performed with passion, virtuosity and, above all, great fun, as only Acting The Maggot can!

Whether you come to listen, laugh or secretly wipe away a tear, this evening leaves no one unmoved. Brace yourself for an unforgettable evening full of music, stories and Irish passion!
