On Saturday and Sunday, 29 and 30 November, we will once again be organising the annual Concert Competition in collaboration with Veldhovens Muziekkorps at Theater De Schalm in Veldhoven. It promises to be a wonderful weekend with orchestras of all levels and exciting programmes!
We will conclude the programme on Sunday with a lively guest performance by the new training orchestra of the Sint Cecilia and Sub Umbra harmonies from Veldhoven. This orchestra is led by two conductors: Pieter van den Broek and Thom Roosen. They will play works by Ferrer Ferran and Bert Appermont and conclude the competition weekend with the Grootse Guus Medley in an arrangement by Johan Smeulders.
