During Cityfest, we’re putting De Schalm under construction – both literally and figuratively. At the Meiveld, you’ll find a special interactive experience where you can have your say on the future of our theatre.
Imagine this: you’re given a single building block to help build the De Schalm of the future. Where would you place it?
You can choose from four themes:
Arrival & entry
How would you like to be welcomed? Think, for example, about accessibility, the entrance, the cloakroom and accessibility for all.
Meeting & staying
What makes a visit to De Schalm enjoyable? Think about the atmosphere, comfortable seating, space and socialising.
Drinks & interval
What do you need during the interval? Think about catering, being able to order something quickly, seating and standing areas, and toilets.
Experiencing & staying
How do we ensure you enjoy a performance to the full and are keen to stay a little longer? Think about comfortable seats, good sightlines and sound, atmosphere and space to chat afterwards.
Every visitor receives two building blocks and uses them to make two choices. In this way, we discover together what visitors consider most important for the De Schalm of the future.
Do you have anything else to say?
If so, you can add your thoughts on a card:
‘For my ideal visit to De Schalm, I would…’
Then pop your card into the designated box. That way, we’ll not only hear what’s important to you, but also why.
