Maria de Fátima is a renowned fado singer, born in Lisbon. She is regarded as a key ambassador for fado and Portuguese culture abroad. With an impressive career that began at the age of 12 and numerous albums to her name, she is acclaimed for her authentic and passionate rendition of traditional fado. Maria is accompanied by two guitarists, playing the classical guitar and the Portuguese guitar.
Raquel Kurpershoek is an artist born in Amsterdam who grew up between the Netherlands and Spain. With an Andalusian mother, a flamenco dance teacher, and a father who is an art historian and traveller, she has developed a unique style that combines the rhythms of flamenco with the musical diversity of the world. She is known for her ability to weave genres such as Latin and jazz into her work. Raquel is accompanied by a pianist and multi-percussionist.
