Following their spectacular 25th-anniversary tour, the lads from The Kilkennys are bringing Ireland’s most famous pub to Dutch theatres: The Temple Bar. This is the very heart of Irish culture, where the rule is simple: as long as the doors are open, there’s live music!

In this brand-new show, The Kilkennys deliver the perfect blend they’re known for: from flawless, traditional folk for the connoisseur to rousing sing-alongs that get the whole venue moving. Whether you’re coming for the beautiful ballads or the unadulterated energy of a proper pub night, the passion radiates from the stage. An evening full of Irish friendship and conviviality that you won’t want to miss!

The band was formed by school friends and began touring Ireland in 1998. In 2008, they chose the name ‘The Kilkennys’, named after their beloved home town of Kilkenny. Over the years, the group has continued to grow. Today, the core line-up consists of Davey Cashin (vocals, mandolin, banjo, guitar, whistles), Tommy Mackey (bass, acoustic guitar, vocals) and Mick Martin (bodhrán, uilleann pipes, low whistles, guitar, vocals). From 2024, the experience will be even more enjoyable with the addition of Davey Long and Jason Turk, who will take The Kilkennys’ music to an even higher level.
