The ultimate start to the summer!
Following a smashing first edition, Saturday 23 May sees the return of Spring op 't Veld – a free festival for all ages! There’ll be live music, delicious food and drink, and fun activities for kids throughout the day. So do pop along and enjoy the lively, summery atmosphere.
Whether you’re coming to dance, soak up the sun or simply enjoy a nice drink, Spring op 't Veld is the place to be!

John de Bever
Take a bit of singing talent, a love of indoor football, and a good dose of Brabant hospitality – and what do you get? John de Bever! He grew up in Berlicum and was spotted as a singer when he was just fourteen. With “You won’t wipe that smile off my face”, he had the whole country singing along.

A band tackling Queen’s entire back catalogue – you’ve got to have some nerve. The Crazy Little Things have sunk their teeth into the songs of one of the greatest pop bands in music history: Queen. The band is the brainchild of singer Marijn Geluk and drummer and music journalist Jean-Paul Heck.

Love Story Band
Love Story – the Taylor Swift tribute band consists of four musical Swifties who put on a show inspired by all the performances Taylor Swift has given over the years.
Our aim is to entertain the audience and all other Swifties with a complete Taylor Swift experience.
Taylor’s biggest hits from every era are featured, from “Our Song” to “Look What You Made Me Do” and from “All Too Well” to “Cruel Summer”.
Love Story is currently one of the best Taylor Swift tribute bands, a must-see for Taylor Swift fans!

These girls create a spectacular party on every stage,
full of dancing and sing-along fun!
Disco Disciples
The Disco Disciples are a professional disco show band.
Since their formation in 1999, they have performed at many major 70s parties both at home and abroad, where they have always been the highlight of the evening. The Disco Disciples perform regularly on the sunny island of Curaçao, where they are welcome guests, and for a number of years they were the resident band at the Oranjebal in Dubai.
They also support major artists, including Manuela Kemp, Boney M., Guus Meeuwis, Lee Towers and Lois Lane.
The line-up has hardly changed over the years. Vocals are provided by the phenomenal singer Astrid Oud. In Daan Guilliamse, who has been the band’s guitarist and singer since March 2013, she has found her equal. Hearing them both sing is pure delight.

Dominic Graat
DJing is one thing, but entertaining is an art in itself. Dominic Graat is a DJ who hails from a background where music reigns supreme. Named the Netherlands’ best up-and-coming party DJ in 2014, he brings his own unique twist to the party. The hits are served up sunny-side up and interspersed with catchy tunes from corners you hadn’t yet discovered yourself. Seeing rainbows in the sky and living as if it were your last day, but with a bit of a wild streak. From event to festival – put your hands up in the air; he came, he entertained and he brought the party.

Exciting Veldhoven
Exciting Veldhoven comprises a number of free events and workshops throughout the year, all building up to a major annual one-day festival featuring countless performances and activities both in the theatre and on the Meiveld.

Exciting Veldhoven is a unique concept offering a range of enjoyable events for a wide audience, from young to old.
Exciting Veldhoven is a collaboration between ASML and Theater de Schalm.

- Entry to the site is at your own risk
- Always follow the instructions of staff, security and emergency services
- The organisers are not responsible for damage, theft or loss of personal belongings
Food & Drink
- You are not permitted to bring your own food and drink
- We operate a No Under-18s policy. You may be asked to show ID at the bar.
- Passing alcohol to visitors under the age of 18 is prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the site.
- Glassware is prohibited throughout the site
- The use and possession of (soft and hard) drugs is prohibited.
Behaviour & Respect
- Disturbance: No aggression, discrimination, intimidation or other disruptive behaviour.
- Rubbish: Dispose of rubbish in the designated bins. Help keep the site clean.
- Noise: Respect local residents; no excessive noise outside the site.
