New concert series: ExIn

Accessible concerts in a small-scale setting

ExIn is the name of a new concert series at De Schalm. It features music that moves, connects and, above all, is accessible to everyone. With ExIn, Theater de Schalm, in collaboration with Stichting Patiënten voor Patiënten / Leef met ALS (Patients for Patients Foundation / Living with ALS), is opting for culture in which everyone feels welcome. High-quality concerts in a barrier-free venue, where artists and audiences truly connect.

ExIn
ExIn stands for two values that reinforce each other. Exclusive stands for top acts that normally fill large venues, but now perform for an intimate audience. Inclusive makes these concerts accessible to everyone. Thanks to the completely flat floor, every seat in the hall is suitable for visitors in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. Music without barriers in an intimate and informal setting.

Concerts on 1 February and 22 March
The first concerts are scheduled for Sunday 1 February and Sunday 22 March at 3 p.m. They will take place in the Lindenzaal, which will be made completely flat for the occasion. This will make the hall fully wheelchair-friendly. On Sunday 1 February, Silke Veld and Rosa Spruit will perform. On Sunday 22 March, Jordy, Küller & Willy will take to the stage.
