VriendenLoterij VIP-KAART
With your VriendenLoterij VIP CARD, you’ll get a 50 per cent discount on various performances at Theater de Schalm. Find out how it works below or book straight away.
Step 1. Log in to Inloggen-Theater using the orange button below, or select ‘Register’ to create a new theatre account.
Step 2. Enter your VIP CARD number(s), postcode and house number (without any suffixes) and click ‘Check’.
Step 3. Browse the programme and order your tickets. When doing so, select the ‘Friends Lottery VIP CARD’ price option.
Good to know
- As a participant in the VriendenLoterij, you can buy a maximum of 1 ticket per performance per VIP CARD at a 50% discount. If you buy more than 1 ticket for the same performance, you’ll pay the standard price for any additional tickets.
- You can, however, purchase discounted tickets for multiple performances. After adding the ticket(s), click on ‘Add more performances’ to add another performance.
- Do you have more than one VIP CARD? After verification, add an extra VIP CARD and book two tickets per performance with a 50% discount straight away.
- This offer is valid online only; the discount is not available by telephone or at the theatre box office.
- You can purchase a maximum of 4 tickets at a 50% discount per calendar year per VIP CARD.
- With this discount offer, you can book up to 4 months in advance.
- Please bring your VIP CARD with you to the performance, as it may be checked.
- Not valid on tickets already purchased or in combination with other promotions or discounts.
- Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold. Should we discover that tickets have been resold, we will cancel the resold tickets without entitlement to a refund.
About this collaboration
Theater de Schalm is a member of the VSCD, the trade association for performing arts venues in the Netherlands. The VSCD and the VriendenLoterij have entered into a partnership with the aim of introducing new discount offers for all VriendenLoterij participants, thereby encouraging a wider group of visitors to attend theatres, playhouses and concert halls.
Every VriendenLoterij participant receives a VIP CARD. With this VIP CARD, participants can visit over 180 museums throughout the Netherlands free of charge, receive up to 50 per cent off at theatres, cinemas, zoos and castles across the Netherlands, and have the chance to attend exclusive events. Frequently Asked Questions
How many discounted tickets can I book?
You can buy a maximum of one ticket per performance with a 50 per cent discount using each VriendenLoterij VIP CARD, up to a maximum of four tickets per calendar year per VIP CARD. If you buy more than one ticket per VIP CARD for the same performance, you will pay the standard price for the additional tickets.
When can I start buying discounted tickets?
You can buy discounted tickets from 4 months before the performance date.
Can I choose any performance?
The Vriendenloterij VIP CARD can only be used for regular professional performances at De Schalm (the ‘Culturele Gasten’ genre is not included). Our box office staff can tell you exactly which ones these are.
Can I also buy tickets at a 50 per cent discount at the theatre box office?
No, the 50 per cent discount via your VriendenLoterij VIP CARD is only valid for tickets purchased online via our website.
I’ve already bought tickets for a show, what now?
It is not possible to apply the VIP CARD discount retrospectively to tickets that have already been purchased.
What should I do if I want to buy more than one ticket for a performance and I have one Vriendenloterij VIP-CARD?
You can order one ticket at a 50 per cent discount using your VriendenLoterij VIP CARD; for the second and any subsequent tickets for that performance, you pay the standard price.
What if I have more than one VIP-CARD?
It is possible to verify two VIP CARD numbers at the same time. This allows you to book two adjacent seats with a 50 per cent discount for each performance straight away.
How do I know how many tickets I can still book at a discount?
Once you have logged in via Mijn Schalm and checked your card number(s), you will immediately see how many tickets you can still buy at a discount. A maximum of 4 performance tickets per VIP CARD applies per calendar year.
How long is my VriendenLoterij discount valid for?
Once your VIP CARD(S) have been verified, your discount remains valid for 1 hour. If you do not complete an order within that hour, the discount will automatically expire.
If you wish to make another booking with a discount after completing an order, please return to the verification page. If you do so within the hour, you will not need to log in again or re-enter your card details.
Will I be checked?
Please bring your VIP CARD with you to the performance. It may be checked.
